Title: Summer orchids: Mtssa Shelob 'Tolkien' once again
Post by: Bob_B on September 17, 2017, 04:30:14 pm
I had some free time to photograph outdoors with flash and a scrim to soften the sunlight. This orchid still has a beautiful spray of flowers, although they are beginning to show signs of age; aren't we all? ;) I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks Thierry. A work in progress, for sure.

Thanks for your comment, Don. I used a 43" Neewer translucent scrim that's part of their 5-in-1 collapsible light reflector set. It's a bit thick for my taste, but functional.

Bob,... so much better than the 2 from Sep 6.  Even thou these have "aged" a bit,... they are a lot more radiant.

Thank you Leszek. I'm happy that my lighting experiments are headed in the right direction.
