Haven't upgraded yet but it looks like the X1D can now be powered off the USB, not just the battery. Great for tethered shooters.

- Power from USB
- Added overlay for Spot Metering area
- Visual Overexposure Warning
- Grid overlay in Video Live View and recording
- Clickable White Balance icon shown in Video Live View and recording

I also have the problem of exposure settings moving around after upgrading to FW 1.17.0. I have checked if it relates to auto ISO, but there is no difference between fixed ISO and auto. Basically the aperture and exposure compensation selection (in Aperture priority) does not respond predictably to the rear and front selection dials. This is new behaviour after upgrading to 1.17.0. Now wondering if I can downgrade to the prior version :(
