Title: Compendium or Light Shade

Does anyone know of a compendium or light shade that would work with a DSLR, like one with, let's say, a 77mm thread? I have been using some of those collapsible rubber lens hoods, but there might be a better solution.

I use one of the Lee hoods (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/101660-REG/LEE_Filters_LH2S_Lens_Hood_Standard.html). Have the various Lee ___mm mounts (52-86mm in my case) on all my lenses and then use the white Lee caps (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/491475-REG/LEE_Filters_LENSCAP_White_Adapter_Ring_Caps.html) on each one.

Moving hood from lens to lens is simple & quick.  Have used up to 135mm with no issues and as wide as 25mm, If not using any filters in slots can get some flare through top of empty slots if sun at just right angle, so just DIY'd a small piece of foamcore I place in there to block light.

Hi Michael!

I have earlier used the corresponding collapsible hood from Cokin.

But the auto-extension does not really work, at least not after a while. Now I use their rigid modular lens hood system, which works quite OK, after I painted the inside with matte black, and taped on a little cuff to prevent stray light from behind. The upper part of the cuff can be folded back when setting the hood on to the lens adapter ring, or when inserting filters. (which latter I don't).
