I go to a mall maybe every two or three years (or longer if I can) and the surreal shiny floors always catch my eye.
This photo really captured the artificial sterility I feel in these places. The solo eater also underscores this and makes me think of so many being alone yet without solitude.

I like. The jelly bean dispensers remind me of bowling pins.

I'd love to see a large inkjet print of this. Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta is my choice. Back in the day, I'd have printed it on Agfa Brovira 16" X 20" stock.
