I'm having fun with a smartphone & LR Mobile and thought about sharing some experiences. Please feel free to post your mobile photos, techniques. CxC also welcome.
While I don't see myself abandoning my DSLR anytime soon, I have to admit that I would have never anticipated the improvement in mobile photography in such a short time.
Here are a few of mine to start. All Iphone 7 Plus, LR Camera, edited in LR. Many times I start the edits in the phone and then refine in my desktop.

I use my smartgizmo's camera mainly for documenting thoroughly mundane stuff, like where in an airport's maze of parking spaces I've left my car, but here's a pic I quite like. Took it from my balcony (lanai) last year while on Big Island, Hawai'i, for a holiday and get-together with a physicist friend.

Nice image!
I find it very handy for multiple purposes, like sending an image to someone instead of describing the subject.
In any case, it has become an enjoyable pastime both taking some snaps and editing the images. Here a few more images from the weekend

iPhone 6+,processed in LR6 with a side trip to CS6 to soften the background.

This is with an iPhone 6, processed within LR6. I was a bit early for an appointment and decided to try something. The morning light was almost in the axis of the cathedral and was very bright; stained glass was luminous, almost unreal. IIRC, I was using the HDR modeā¦

I love messing around with with my Samsung S8! While I'm out shooting with my real camera, I'll grab some pics with it, sometimes in "Pro" mode, which adds a RAW copy. I finally processed one of the recent RAW images and it turned out pretty good.
