See you next month Chris!

I have photographed this location and event a few times. Amazing place. If you get a chance make it a point to attend. I'd be there but heading to Iceland to run a workshop. Enjoy.
-
Been there, done that! (with an X-T1, though.) ;)

Highly recommended.

Just returned from Isle of Skye workshop with the digitalcameraman. It was a great workshop thanks to his planning and organization. I suspect this workshop will also be successful.

Chris,
I hope that you remember to bring band-aids for Don & Sandy Libby. I guarantee you that one of them, as they're not height challenged at all, hits their forehead somewhere in the silos :) LOL

Bike helmets, not band-aids ;D

Video or facebook live might be worth seeing Don scramble around... ;D

I was there when Don was sprawed out shooting the clockwork that Graham posted somewhere. I was so busy trying to get my Alpa in position I neglected to shoot a "behind the scenes" of Don. Just imagine a giraffe kneeling down to look at a flower 1 foot high. At least his GFX has a tilt out LCD.
Worse than that was the small Hundai rental car he had. He could turn the ignition on and off with his knees.

No head bumps and no blood spilt inside the silos. The stupid rental car is another matter having to sit down put my head almost between my knees just to get into the damn thing. Never missed my Raptor more than I did that week. And no behind the scenes of me laying down on the floor cuddling next to my tripod and GFX as I shot the gears.
I did have a great time!

This was taken with a Fujifilm GFX 50s and GF32-64 /f lens f/4 0.6 ISO100

Agree it was a worthwhile workshop, good people and very low key too. Nice to meet you Don.
You were right. I never should have touched that 150/2.8. Still debating other goodies I touched. Sure does create GAS.

Would have loved to join you folks - Mark Maio puts together a great low key event and in fact I went twice last year!
Always fun catching up with Don & Sandy too. Met quite a few new friends there during the events. I will go back soon.
Chris also does a great job looking after everyone.

I think many of us would love to see images from participants in the workshop. Will any be available for viewing?

I've written a couple blogs now on Silo City with plenty of images.
