It's not a US location, but reminds some of "us" the Rockies, which is far too non-specific I know since they're 5000km long, but aside from that, if this were a location in the US, where would it remind you of?

Reminds me of Wyoming, Yellowstone area, close to the Rockies but not quite there.

Reminds me of the areas around McClure Pass down in Colorado.

Could be a million places. Eastern Sierra, for one.
