Hello
I am going to add a RAID drive to my system Can you give me info on how to move files from my folders within C1 to the new raid drive so that C1 can access them under my regular catalog
Thank you

First step is to determine if you really want a catalog or if you'd be better off with sessions:

I'd estimate 70-80% of people using catalogs would be better off using sessions.
For example, if you were using sessions the answer to your question would be "move the session... done."

Are your image files referenced (outside the catalog itself), or managed (inside the catalog)?

Thank you both for the response I do use catalogs not sessions and they are not managed in the catalog I am not a commercial photographer and therefore do not have 20 similar projects (eg weddings) to manage My catalog is on an SSD I am adding a RAID for protection of my image assets I can now see the advantages of sessions and will consider switching Can you give me the methodology for moving the folders both for catalogs and sessions I would appreciate that

For referenced images in the catalog, use the Library tab to create a new folder for images over on the RAID. And then, again from the Library tab, drag the folders you'd like from your SSD to your RAID.
Here's a reference to the manual for more details:
