I agree. I am very fond of b&w photographs of flowers, but the focus spoils this one for me.

Handheld, shadow, very shallow DOF. Focus was a shot decision. Thanks for your comment!

I like the color version better. And small (but bigger than thumbnail) works best to minimize the out-of-focus effect.

Agree with the focus issue, yet it's such a lovely photo, both versions. What are the grey artefacts in the colour version?
