Enough suffering and humiliation for one week, already!

Your photo is a self portrait. And a very good one at that.

Here's a genuine question: if you try to sell yourself as a photographer, and use this as a picture on the about-me page, would you include the glasses?
Mind you, my eyesight is quickly deteriorating like the next old guy, so i don't mean to discriminate, nor do i intend to start a populist anti-glass party (including but not limited to glass-on-old-skool-prints), but just wondering about the public perception. The latter obviously in need of long overdue glasses as well...

Actually, the more serious problem is that he isn't holding the camera straight.
Fine shot, Harald, even with the camera cocked.

You have an interesting face.

My first thought... if I see someone with a camera in a shot like this, I expect it was shot in a mirror, so the camera should be perfectly square and pointed at me.
Obviously this is an example of the rare two-camera selfie...

Obviously, it's a wide angle... ;)

Seriously?

Seriously?
Well, for a self-portrait it obviously should be included, but what about for marketing purposes?
Would potential clients subconsciously prefer a "faultless" photographer?

I strongly believe that clients prefer photographers with a convincing portfolio of good pictures. If your pictures are really outstanding and stunning then you could also add your portrait with your guide dog.

Just be careful they don't try to deal directly with the dog.

That depends. Do you have a good macro lens? ;)
