Title: Printing problem - Lightroom 5 - Epson 7800- Mavericks
Post by: Pete JF on February 28, 2017, 05:59:44 pm
Hi Folks..

I am in LR 5 trying to print a bunch of images to an Epson 7800

Getting some strange behavior in the driver window for my Epson 7800

Both 'Print Mode' and 'Color Mode' in  Print Settings are grayed out. I checked to make sure the driver was not a 'built in' driver from Apple..it's the latest Epson 7800 driver for sure.

Print Mode is stuck in something called 'AccuPhoto HDR'

Color Mode is stuck in No Color Management (off)

Never have seen this happen..poof, there it is.

ALso, wondering about Color Management in Mavericks..something seems a bit off..

Ugh..one of those days..

ooK,

Found a post from Andrew from a while back saying that my issue was a result of letting Software Update..update the printer drivers.

I deleted the printer in System Prefs>Printers and Scanners and then trashed the drivers..downloaded the latest drivers and reinstalled.

Everything's back to normal..thanks.

Make sure you are using the Series driver, not the AirPrint driver.
