Title: Raw Therapee slightly increases resolution for DP3 Merrill

Raw Therapee didn't open DP2 Quattro files for me, but they made 4806x3202 images from DP3 Merrill files which Sigma Pro makes at 4704x3136.

The attached is a Sigma Pro file 67% opaque registered on the Raw Therapee version.  The green in the highlights is from the Raw Therapee side.  My stumbling around in Raw Therapee produced a non-green version, but the program crashed before I saved it and the redo...

Hi Bruce.
I thought RT opened Sigma X3F files. At least their website says it does. I, too, have a DP2 Quattro and am thinking about learning RT -- if it's compatible.
Have you had any recent luck since you posted this message ?

Just learned RT does not support these files -- at least not yet.

Where from?

I use RT 5. It opens all X3Fs up to but not including Quattros.

The bad news is that the conversions are quite poor at default settings - compared to SPP 5.5.3.

My mistake!
RT does Foveon images up to, but not including Quattro files. This is what RT told me.
In time I'm hoping they will.

Could be waiting a while, now that the Quattros can output Linear DNG, and now that Kalpanika does Quattros.

I use RT for serious work but only for TIFFs out of SPP.
