Title: quick help decoding Epson 3800 LCD
Post by: tcrawford on February 20, 2017, 12:10:17 pm
Just wondering if anyone can help me decode which color is which.  My wife had to send me this picture and trying to order ink to get here Wednesday.  She doesn't have a driver installed for it.  I thought I was low on light magenta but that doesn't line up with the interior order from other pictures I've found.

I think you're correct. The rightmost bar is the waste tank.

Thanks!  I could not remember what the far right bar was.  That makes sense since it is larger on the display.

Or, just open the door on the printer?

Here is the order of inks from the viewers left to right.

MK, PK, LK, LLK, Cyan, Vivid Magenta, Light Cyan, Light Vivid Magenta, Yellow, Waste Ink Reservoir Capacity (All black means empty, all blank means full.)

I suspect you're describing the tanks in a 3880. The 3800 doesn't have vivid magenta.

Top most in the screenshot is the left cartridge (this is from a 3800).
