Thoughts? Should I create some texture in the sky (by copy from elsewhere)?

Jeremy,
This is lovely. I would leave the sky as it is; the waterfall is the story here. There is this belief in some quarters that the sky always has to have "drama" that I find not at all convincing.

I agree. Too much drama in the wrong place ends up being distraction.

Thanks, Rajan. I particularly value any comment you make about photographs of Iceland. I wasn't thinking of introducing drama, just wondering if the shot would be improved by introducing a little gentle cloud texture to the blank area, which is quite large.

Lovely as is.

I agree with the above, don't touch the sky there is drama enough in the rest of the scene. Wonderful :)

I may as well add my voice to the choir.
I think that this image is excellent as is.
Sometimes, an area of low interest in an image can really emphasise the real interest in the image - in this case the waterfall.
Even a lot of the rock strata over which the waterfall plunges - being in deep shadow - is not that obvious, and it does not matter, the waterfall itself is a thing of poetry!
