Ha! The weather was obviously a good deal less inclement when you were there. Thanks for posting, though: I can use your shot to help in levelling mine. I had no visible horizon and had to guess. It looks as though I wasn't far off.

The streaked snow conveys wind and cold: nice. I think that the main challenge here is that there are so many rich elements: the blowing snow, the snow drifts, the texture of the rock, the action in the water. It's just too rich?  (OTOH this is far better than any of my attempts here.)

By way of comparison, Rajan's recent post (http://forum.luminous-landscape.com/index.php?topic=116380.0) has one engaging layer of complexity, set in semi-abstract landscape. He did this by getting closer. Maybe something involving the top-right quadrant of your image, for example, would work.

Jeremy that image looks so unassuming small but once clicked upon to bring up the big version you see how much is in there.
I like the textures, the streaking snow and sea. It's a busy image but in this instance I needs to be as it's a wild image.

It's a powerful image.
Ikeep coming back to it and it feele more forceful each time I view it.
