The River is just behind me and the sun about to rise through the trees and burn off the mist. I would have likes some hoar frost on the trees as well as the grass but, it seems, you can't have everything. Ken

Nope, not even the river... but a cracking shot nonetheless.

Nice shot Ken.
Just out of interest, where on the Tyne is it? ( I'm a Tynesider ).

Graeme it is at Featherstone Castle in the South Tyne valley just South of Haltwhistle. In using this title I failed to consider that their would be very few people who would know about the Lindisfarne song and the difference between gritty Tyneside and this pastoral scene. Ken

Thanks Ken. I'm from South Shields - definitely the grittier end of the Tyne.

Lovely. Possibly just a bit more foreground than is necessary?

Another Tynesider (Small world eh!) I like it, lovely light. I don't mind the foreground but get Jeremy's point.
