I upgraded my Mac OS to 10.11 and didn't see the photoshop plug-in on their website for this and Sierra.
The driver was there but not the plug-in.
I called Canon and they said to just use Yosomite plug-in. They were correct it does work normally, they walked me through how to install it ( the plug-in ends up outside of the PS plug-in folder and you just drag it in there.
I Just wanted to say that these Canon support people have always been so professional and organized and pleasant to deal with and they never charge me anything.
You are not on a chat box with India or anything. They really do a good job.
