Title: Alaska's neighborhood glaciers
Post by: MarkM on January 10, 2017, 07:17:27 pm
I have a gallery of some of Alaska's more accessible glaciers running on The Atlantic's photo blog this week. Even after being up here almost a decade, I'm still constantly amazed at this place:

Thanks Eric & Scott. That first shot was one of those times when everything just came together at the right moment. It's already a pretty amazing location, but the opening in the ceiling let it just enough light to use a short-ish exposure of the woman while holding onto the blue glow from the ice.
