A welcome view on a cold winter evening.

What a glorious image!
That prospect of warmth and comfort seen through the frigid viewpoint of the rest of image almost brought a tear to my eye.

+1!! Title fits the image perfectly, and it brings back boyhood memories of winters in Connecticut coming home after a 'hard' afternoon of sledding or skating. Thanks for making that memory happen.

All of your kind comments are much appreciated. The image brings back memories of my childhood, too. It was captured one evening just before dark when I hiked up the road a ways to a neighbor's house, and it looked so inviting from this position.

Arlen, I love this.  I'm a "winter" person living in Texas, and it just warms.. er.. cools.. my heart ;)

I agree with all of the praise.
