It is the middle of what goes for winter there right now.
It is the dry season there.

I am speechless, what a beauty!

Way to start a new day/year! Gorgeous.

Thank you, everyone.
Tony is right. Dec and Jan months are as good as it gets weather wise in this part of the world. High 60s or low 70s in the early morning, not much humidity.

I commented on what appeared to be humidity: the air looks like you can cut it with a knife. Is it smoke?

Terry,
It's not smoke. It is low morning mist.

??? So relative humidity is relatively low, but there is morning mist. As a geographer I understand how that can happen, but usually mist is a good indication of high relative humidity reaching the dew point.

Humidity is high (probably 80-85%) but not as high as it is during other times of the year (> 90%). The ambient temperature (around 70ยบ F in the mornings these days) makes it pleasant.

Almost certainly a temperature inversion contributing here.
As soon as the sun gets up a bit the inversion resolves and the mist quickly burns off.

That's true. The mist starts around 20 mins before sunrise, builds up to a maximum just before sunrise, and then dissipates once the sun gets up.

That is a keeper! Simply beautiful!
