Another image from a few yeas ago..
This is a shot of an old abandoned Croft House, which has since collapsed and which were also known as "Black Houses (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackhouse)" in Scotland.
Merry Christmas everyone ;)

Interesting shot, Dave. And merry Christmas to you too.

Yes, a very interesting picture, and no wonder the poor old house fell down, embraced like that! Just the tonic for Xmas!

Thanks both of you :)
These black houses originally had thatched or grass sods for roofs, but obviously not as effective as modern corrugated sheeting which replaced thatch after the second world war and on through the 60's and 70's, so it is now quite rare to see a genuine old black house still standing on Skye where I live, but there are still quite a few on the outer isles, but those that haven't been abandoned, have mostly been fully modernised and are being used for holiday rentals.
It really must have been a very hard life living under such conditions and in such remote areas back then, and by back then I don't mean that long ago at all really and definitely within my lifetime.

Great creepy shot, Dave!

To me this is a truly wonderful image!
As a storytelling image one could write a whole novel based on what this image evokes.
A winner in every sense of the word!

Fantastic
I see new creatures and new movement every time
I view it.
P.S.
I wouldn't hang it in my bathroom.
