Mountains of the Wasatch, long old before we were born, stand as sentinels of time. Fresh snow and the first light of morning touches the face and one can only think this was, as it was, from the beginning, pure, silent and... undisturbed.
Merry Christsmas!

The gentle glow really brings out the spirit of the mountain.
Thank you for this gift, Mark, and Merry Christmas to you, too.

+1 to what Eric said and Merry Christmas.

Beautiful photograph. And tangible, too.

I love the subtle variation in light across this image - it contributes greatly to what would always have been a good image!
Congratulations

Good light.

Fantastic atmosphere for this shot. It's both dramatic (for the clouds and the shadows) and calming (for the well lit areas), that's the essence of winter in the mountains.

+1 ...your descriptions of the scenes you shoot are quite poetic and a joy to read. Thanks for sharing Mark.
