Title: Masterpiece
Post by: mseawell on December 23, 2016, 10:46:55 pm
This is NOT my image but I found this one of the most incredible displays of light and presence and what I would consider a masterpiece. The photographer is Sangeeta Dey. What staggered me is there wasn't a single comment until I wrote something. Absolutely hands down one of the best captures I've seen....inspirational. He called it "The Temple"...rightfully so. One day I will get into those mountains. Till then

Well found, Mark. That's a truly gorgeous photograph.

It's good, but Mark's are at least as good, IMHO.

This "Masterpiece" looks to me as if the saturation has been bumped up a little beyond what I find believable.

Agree with Eric M in all respects. It is also reminiscent of your own work, Mark, though I prefer yours!

Very kind remarks, and much appreciated.  I would love to get down to Argentina/Chile to capture those mountains. Maybe I should concentrate on getting to Yosemite first! That seems hard enough!
