These are wonderful. For me, they convey desolation. A stark and almost barren winter farmscape is nicely enhanced by the shallow depth of field. This one increases the sense of desolation. The second, an otherwise frigid winter seascape is brought to life by the sun. A beautiful sunny desolation.
