a home and then a propane tank on a construction site
-
I don't get the propane tank image but the first one is great - the coloured chairs make it. Maybe slightly darken the house in the background on the left?
-
Good suggestion about the house in the background. ... I've been taking pictures of substations, gas and diesel fuel pumps, car washes, closeup photos of air/vacuum kiosks, ice machines and other such oddments. I am drawn to those subjects. Eventually I'll figure out why.

Sorry, not propane. flammable liquid, not otherwise specified. possibly a bio blend. Propane UN # is 1075
Other give away - flat ends on tank - very low pressure tank. Any LPG tank will have round ends.

How come you didn't know all about that tank when you shot it, Bob? Good grief. You mean you're just shooting tanks at random?
Love the little house. Your night and late evening shots are in a class by themselves.

I've been torturing myself for ages trying to work out a seating arrangement, by colour, that would be better than the way it is. I can't do it: I think the owner got it right.
And yes, Bob has a gift for the genre. Power to his elbow.

+1.
It's a good thing that he shoots with a camera rather than with a, er, something else, especially for Tanks.
I read the house image this way: Hubby bought the bunch of white chairs, but then wifey pointed out to him that they needed some color to decorate their house.
Good stuff, Bob.

I admit it, the "tank" photo is a dud. ... At the time, I thought it looked kind of like a cow. Damn, I spent way too much time on it in post.

I was being facetious, Bob. The tank's not a bad shot. It's just that it doesn't come up to the level of your other stuff.

which is a pretty high standard.

We all do it: I spent about 2 hours on a collage / drawing thingy last night & it's a complete load of crap.
I'll use it to light our stove tonight. ::)

Agree with the others. Love the house. The tank photo....well...doesn't do anything for me....and I love industrial type subject matter.
