While I would not recommend this as a first macro lens, I would highly recommend it for those seeking to expand their creativity (think Tony Snow). This lens is a manual focus 80mm/4.0 Mamiya 645 with a Auto Macro Spacer and a Fotodiox Pro M645-AI Nikon Converter attached. It takes 67mm filters, has an original Mamiya front cap and a Nikon rear cap. Glass is clean, with very little dust. Pictures made with this lens have an impressionistic look, with an out-of-focus background which appears as a "wash;"e.g. a brown fence will look as a soft brown color. Leaves are sharp in the center and quickly become out-of-focus. All in all, a great addition to anyone's lens collection. CONUS sales only; PayPal payment only. Buyer to pay an additional $15.00 for shipping. Pix are available; just send me your email and I'll promptly post them.

How much extension does the adapter set give?

The adapter provides appx. 25cm + the width of the connectors (I'm guessing another 4-5cm). Hope this is helpful! Tom. WITHDRAWN
