Usually I'd just add saturation and contrast, but in this case I think it'll take a little bit more than that....

I'd say isolate the yellows and enhance a little. That will increase the relationship between the corncob and the watertower.

 If I read this right from the shadow it looks loke the sun was to the rear resulting with a bit of a flat, evenly lit corn. A different time of day may have given a more demensional feeling to the corn.
