For initial printer head alignment what kind of paper is recommended? Printer is 44" model. Is it OK to use 24" or 36" for that purpose?

You can use even a 17", no problem. You can use a smooth matte paper, but glossy is better.

Thanks

Geraldo, how's it going brother? I thought the smallest that could be used was 11 x 14 - I'm pretty sure it because I cut some older 17 x 22 in half and have used it for a lot of things like diagnostic charts, etc.
And I agree - glossy is best.

Hello Mark,
Everything is fine down here if we ignore the politics... well, I think that is true almost everywhere! ;D
My Z3200 is temporary out of order due to star wheel assembly stuck on the upper position. I am waiting for a calm day to open it and see what happened. I use it mostly for BW prints and profile creation this days.
You are probably right about the paper size, I never tried anything smaller than a 17" roll for head alignment.
Regards.
