To me the second image is something paradoxical- kind of softly magnificent . Can almost feel the massive structure, draped in velvet, coming right at me.
Simple and expressive.

Both nice, and the shots on your blog really bring back the feel of being in Iceland. Horizontal rain is not uncommon in Iceland, any time of year.

Making the most of difficult conditions, well done. In the second one, a sense of "primordial" comes to mind.
