Thanks Francisco... I like the photo, but it also has nostalgic value. I lived in Melbourne for 16 years, but strangely only crossed that bridge a handful of times. Plus of course I remember the disaster during it's construction, when an out of control tug-boat hit one of the pylons and caused a span to fall, with workers inside :(

Well done.

Thanks for the comments,
I remember the disaster during it's construction, when an out of control tug-boat hit one of the pylons and caused a span to fall, with workers inside :(
I was unaware of that accident, as I have been living in Melbourne only 4 years. In any case, from what I read on the internet, the collapse of a section of the bridge during its construction was due to a combination of design & construction issues, unless there was another incident related to a tug-boat, for which I haven't found references.

I like it. My first thought was that some interest in the sky might be good, but I was wrong: the empty space is just what's needed.

the collapse of a section of the bridge during its construction was due to a combination of design & construction issues,
I may be mixing them up (I was only a child): my vague recollection is that the boat gave a gentle tap to the pylon and the section fell: it certainly should have resisted the impact and the fault was clearly design and contruction, as you say.
But yes, I may be mixing two different stories.
Edit: and indeed I was. the Westgate fell in 1970, the Tasman bridge (Hobart) was struck by a bulk ore carrier in 1975:
