I made the mistake of performing a power clean on my Epson 4800. It seems to be going on forever and using all my ink. I am hoping that someone will know how to cancel it. I've tried turning it off an on again, but it keeps restarting.

Have you called Epson ProGraphics Tech Support?

Yes I've left a call for them ans they've not got back to me. I was thinking of resetting the printer. HAs anyone done a factory reset? Holding down the Pause, down and menu butoon whilst switching on gets a load of maintenance menus but I don;t understand the codes.

Don't want to be insulting, but have you actually unplugged the printer as well as turning it off?

One more shot, and I'll shut up - press Pause button for 3 seconds to reset printer, not sure how deep it goes.

If I remember correctly the only way I found to stop the power clean process was if one of the ink cartridges ran out of ink or got too low to complete the procedure. All other methods seemed to cause the procedure to restart, wasting even more ink.
So, knowing that information you might try to place an empty cartridge into the printer.
