Thanks all. Graham, it's probably even more minimalist than you think. When I framed it and shot it I knew the little blooms needed to be in the picture but I was concentrating on the light around the bases of the trees. It wasn't until I got the thing up on a computer monitor that I realized how important those little blooms were. That was when I decided to post it.

The light in the trees is appealing but I would have liked to see the blooms figure more prominently. Maybe a lower and closer perspective? Not sure if that would have allowed you to include the lighting in the trees though. I certainly get the feel of a beautiful morning from this shot.
