Still working on the car wash series...

Nice ones. I especially like "Smile..."
Before moving to Colorado, you should check that they have interesting car washes. I don't know if they do. They surely have gas stations, but not ocean beaches.

I've officially concluded the "Horizon" series. I believe I've captured the "feel" of the Gulf of Mexico from the vantage point of Sarasota, FL. Colorado is still a bit hypothetical, but becoming less so. I've seen enough of Colorado to realize there is plenty of material worth photographing. I usually latch onto a theme and stay with it for a year or two. Gas stations and car washes will probably differ some from what's around in Central Florida. Being that Sarasota has a subtropical climate--always humid and especially oppressive six months out of the year, I welcome a change.

You're on a roll, Bob. You probably ought to think about putting together a collection of these and do a photo essay on LuLa with them.

I particularly like the second one. It has a voyeuristic feel to it but with the irony of the 'Smile" sign. Good photos don't need a textual hook but when it works it works.

Russ, how would one go about putting up a photo essay on LuLa? We're limited to four uploads.

Bob,
Just submit the idea to Kevin.

I completely agree
