A few weeks ago, I was out scouting locations and discovered the New Cathedral Cemetery on west side of Baltimore city. This is a very large cemetery with many graves dating back to the 1800s and perhaps earlier than that. Many of the tombstones have large, ornate sculptures that clearly show the effects of weather and age on marble and stone. I was out there this morning in the rain and captured this image of John T. Grindall's tombstone. I hope you enjoy it.
