Title: Foam vortex
Post by: MattBurt on September 13, 2016, 01:13:05 am
I thought the sky might really explode with color tonight but it never came together. Instead I found some foam circulating in an eddy on the creek. I had to hang around and try various shutter speeds and fund 3s works well.
I went with the high contrast look to highlight the foam trails.

Thanks! I love this kind of find. I love to plan a shot and then execute it but these kind of finds are more exciting!

+ 1 and the swirl patterns seem almost like they were from a painting and makes the whole picture more interesting.

Agreed!
