Can any of the Canon 1.4 extenders be used with the 24TS-E mk2?
Many thanks,
Paul

I just tried it (1.4x mk2). No mechanical issues. Have not tested it optically though.
-
Not the best shot, but it's plenty sharp:
-
Tried 1,4x mkiii and it works but can not get the aperture info. Just looking at the camera LCD monitor I can not judge the quality.

I got all the usual info with 1.4x mk2.

Tested here:

Testing again right now with 1.4x MkIII. The aperture data in exif is incorrect. I got no aperture correction for 1.4x extender. The largest aperture is still recorded as f/3.5 in camera and in Lightroom exif. The combo works pretty good. Got reduced sharpness but still acceptable for my needs. However the CA can be bit heavy on high contrast subjects thought. Only tested with no tilt and shift.

Also, the depth of field preview button does not work with this combo.

Hi Paul. I used to use the mkii but switched to a Pentax 645 35mm with adaptor which is a far better choice (thanks to Andrew L for the tip). Now one of my favourite shift lenses and highly recommended.

Can I ask, which adapter do you use? I'm having problems with the Kippon showing erratic exposure in live view. Thanks

Kippon also. It could be that their quality control is a little substandard though. If it's under warranty then perhaps ask to change it.
