Title: Imac27, cs6, Epson3880.. can't find paper sizes
Post by: martin archer-shee on September 01, 2016, 07:02:16 pm
The title is partly right. Recently moved from PC to Imac27. In windows I had cs6 and the 3880 and could find ready made paper sizes and able to switch from Imperial to metric for print sizes. There was also the option of "Photo sizes"
Now I am lost. Only sizes shown in Epson print dialogue show US letter and a bunch of metric. The US letter is shown as metric measurement.Went to make a "Custom Size" and measurement is in metric only. Even had imperial measure selected in the main print screen.

what am I doing wrong?

Martin

Try going to the Language & Region Preference pane in System Preferences, click the advanced button, and set your preferred measurement unit there, choices are U.S., Metric and U.K. I believe Epson uses that setting on OS X.

Wayne

Moving from PC to Mac has its stumbling blocks. Not sure how I missed that in setting up. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
On to the next....

Thanks

Wayne is absolutely correct. I had the same issue when getting a new iMac, called Epson and was pointed to the Preferences, problem solved.
