Team,
I have just found a very near trick on OSX today. It is possible to drag a .nef file from the catalog browser of C1 Pro to the icon of Raw developer on the dock to open images directly.
I find this great because I typically use C1 Pro as my main converter but often want to try out the rendering/detail of Raw developer. This makes such tests super easy!
Cheers,
Bernard

You mean Iridient Raw Developer I assume. Still Mac only I believe, but the best all round for my taste.

Hi Bernard, that's very neat. I'm looking forward to the 'announced' Windows version of Iridient's Raw Developer, but assume that Capture One will still be my main Raw converter for some time. It's useful if comparing results is as easily done as dragging to RD's shortcut icon.
Cheers,

Certainly encouraging..... appreciate the link. All of my main processing is PC oriented mainly because of performance issues over MAC. I do, though, have both Mac's and PC's and would not be without either.

Would love to see this happen, but not holding my breath for a product that was going to have a public beta 5 months ago and is nowhere in sight.

As of a few months ago, Windows version of Iridient Developer still planned:
