To tell you the truth, I don't know what made these prints and smudges on the outside glass door to my house. I'm pretty sure they're not human (I had recently cleaned the glass, as noted by the streaks), and they have a three segmented print suggestive of an insect. Perhaps a moth that was enraptured by the glass? Then again, maybe they're the mark of an alien left over from a Twilight Zone episode. Anyway, I hope you like whatever it is.
As always, I appreciate your viewing, comments, and suggestions. Thank you. - Bob

Bob,
That is one of the most bizarre photos I've seen posted here.
I think it would go well in the "Abstracts" thread.
I like it.
I think I'll go for the "alien" hypothesis. ;)

+1.
Absolutely aliens, not moths. Looks like they tried to get in and gave up.
Well seen!

Eric and Peter: Thank you for your comments. Aliens for sure.

One question. Are you still living there?

... and that's the last we ever heard from him.

Yes, Peter, I still live here, with the other moths that eat my clothes and flour. ;)

"The truth is out there"...
... and that's the last we ever heard from him.

The aliens got tired of him and shipped him back.

A friend suggested that the recent floods in old Ellicott City released a relative of mothman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mothman), but I haven't seen Mulder and Scully, so I think I'm safe. ::)

That's what I like about this forum, or at least this sub-section; the art of photography of course, but also the ability to be amusing from time to time. Thanks to all of you.
