A German morning on a lonely road between two small villages. Like an old frieind, I know this place well, haunted it a many times often alone in the early hours. Before we moved to Utah, I would often find myself here, staring down at this small farm, sometimes with deer grazing. I look back on what I found here with great nostalgia, the quiet moments of perfection and my soul at peace. Though I love the staggering beauty of Utah, the open spaces and endless mountains, the stillness of the German countryside still has a place within my heart andscenes like this where the mist, light and mysteries of the shadows converge are, in their own way, as dramatic as the mountains of the west. This Valley of Light is eternal.

That is quite lovely.
As you wander farther afield in this country, I suspect you will find similar scenes. Perhaps even in Utah, though it certainly isn't what one would expect to find in Utah.

Wonderful light on a pastoral scene. Well processed too.
On a side note, file dimensions do not allow us to see it in full when enlarged (e.g., on iPads). Unless something changed recently, either up to 800 pixels wide, or 1200+ would display it without the need to scroll left and right to see it whole.

All I can say is nice light and so wonderful for black and white. I have a German speaking niece and and newphew. They were particularly cute when they spoke to me in German, not understanding that I didin't understand.
