Title: japanese fonts creative cloud

Aloha,

Downloaded the cc app for TK fonts, snyced the fonts for japanese
shows they are synced and are available in my font drop down window in PS but when i type the letters are all in english...

what am i missing here?

Don't know for sure, but unless you can change the localization settings of windows or  osx ie a native japanese keyboard mapping, those are like just special characters that you have to add one by one.

I don't know if this will be of immediate help, but you might have to type Japanese characters in an Input Method Editor (IME) to have it automatically replaced by kana or kanji characters. One such IME is provided by default in Windows.

For background info, this Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_input_methods) might be of help.

For setting up the IME in Windows and learning how to type in Japanese, see this link (https://www.coscom.co.jp/learnjapanese801/install_ime.html). That way, you won't have to set your OS regional settings to Japanese to write that exquisite, if very slightly complicated language :).
