Unstretched (and they can stretch nearly their body length), they are just a tad larger than an average adult man's hand.

In the second image, he has his feet wrapped around the branches oh the bush and uses these to anchor himself for a full body-neck lunge for a fish (2nd image). The cypress knee he's on measures about a foot and a half high and a foot wide so you can have a size reference.
