Zabriskie Point is one of Death Valley's landmarks; here Manley Beacon's ridge is lit by the morning sun under a stormy sky.

That's a beauty

Oh, well done, Vieri!!!
-
The best shot of Manley Beacon I've seen.
-
Amazing. Fantastic sky. I'd be intrigued to see it in colour.

This is one of the better images I have seen made from such an iconic spot. Always nice to see a location that stands out. Nice work with the BW tones too.

+1 Breathtaking!
-
One of the best landscapes I have ever seen.

Awesome shot! 8)

First class!

That is absolutely fantastic awesome tones and drama.

Good sky and great B&W treatment. It's an elegant take on a classic.
Bravo!

Nicely done!
-
Very nice.
Not that it matters, but I'm curious how long the exposure time was?
BTW - I like this B&W much better than the color version in your filters article!
-
great tonality - really nice image in B&W - thanks

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments, I am glad you enjoyed it! :D
As far as your questions:
@kikashi: Jeremy, I have seen this immediately in B&W, and haven't even processed a colour version of it. Colours were OK but not great, it wasn't a spectacular sunrise as far as the sky, and the drama of the scene made me think about B&W :D
@Brookie: the exposure was 2.5 minutes for this one. The colour one in my filter review article has been taken the same morning, but I agree with you - the B&W works better for the scene.
Thanks again, best

Fair enough. It's stunning in B&W, certainly.

Thank you very much Jeremy, I have some images in colour taken the same morning in different moments, with different cameras, perhaps I'll post them in the future :) Best,
