Post by: Jann Lipka on June 03, 2006, 04:59:49 am
I have H2/ and some lenses with P45,

Is there absolutely no Tilt/shift options for that camera / back
combo ?
I want mostly tilt.

In a word, no.

The lenses you have wern't designed to cover a large enough image circle for movements.

You're best bet is to get a view camera, like the Linhof 679, or a Silvestri Bicam, and some Schnider or Rodenstock digital lenses.

I thought Hasselblad had gone public that there will be an H series tilt & shift lens announced at Photokina in September? If not there's some very strong rumours to this effect circulating amongst UK Hasselblad dealers.

I'm holding off upgrading my V series P25 until Photokina as there's so much that may, or may not, emerge in Cologne.

A 22MP+ Canon with an upgraded wide angle lens range, the H series T&S lens or lenses, stories of an upgraded Hasselblad H series wide-angle line-up targeted at 39MP back resolution, more viewfinder options for the H series, and of course the ever present possibility that by September the V series will have been consigned to the dustbin of photographic history!
