A couple from the deserts.
I've finally seen the Sailing Stones.
-
Both are very nice, but the first is stunning!
-
I have to agree. Number one is stunning.
-
#1 is #1 :)
-
Number two is good, number one is spectacular
-
Yet another vote for #1. (But #2 is nice, too.)
-
#1 is actually a fantastic shot;
#2 is even better!

Unfortunately you guys all got it wrong. 8) The sailing stones are way cooler! (things are not always as they appear) - PS: Go see them! I loved reading about the mystery in 2013 (unsolved) then reading they solved it, and then seeing them. Quite a treat.

I also vote for #1, the sky is gorgeous and the there's plenty of texture.

I agree.

Can't go wrong either way. Both are wonderful images. :)
-
Nice ones. I would prefer a bit more room for the stone in #2.
-
Like both but #1 is the best.

I've looked at #2 a couple of times and it looks like the trail goes on beyond the rock. It keeps catching my eye. However it is a nice shot.

It very likely does, they often change directions, in this case it was likely the ice sheet pushed the rock and then settled back as a surge happened causing a reverse ripple or something of this nature.
