I do love monochrome shots of flowers. This is a beauty.

Thank you Francois, Scott, and Jeremy for the kind and considerate words.
It was sad to hear about Michael's passing away. He really gave us the opportunity to learn and share our work.
I'm indebted to him, in no little way.
Take care all.
Richard
PS- Found this late blooming iris on Blind River in the mid-afternoon sun. Couldn't get much luckier.

Thank you Bob and Paulo.
I don't know how I could do decent DP without all of you.

Gorgeous, understated, even reserved black and white. Well seen, captured and processed, especially because you resisted raising any value to near white.

Terry,
About the white value, I kept raising it up, because I thought I had to, but the foto looked so much better when it was lower. Your encouragement about this is invaluable.
And many thanks for your generous comments. I'm not used to getting this kind of feedback. I'd better be careful or I'll soon be shopping for a lot more larger hats.
Hope your weather is fair.
Richard.
