Last evening on Low Fell in Cumbria waiting for the evening light a fell pony decided that me, my camera and tripod tasted quite nice.
All comments welcome.

I like it a lot. With that framing, the pony looks massive, almost prehistoric. The light and landscape are very nice too.
Well done.

A splendid image. You must have been happy when you tripped the shutter?
-
Yes very happy but I was more interested in tucking my feet out of the way. 1 to stop the pony licking them and 2 to keep them out of the shot. This is a vertically corrected version. The Scot's pine in the shot was a strange shape but not quite as skewed as the first shot.

The first version with more space around the pony's forelegs is better...I would look at it with the upper 1/10th and left 1/10th cropped off...so the pony has a little more prominence. The first version the landscape and pony are vying for attention...I think it should be weighted to the latter since it is the most prominent subject.

Nice and funny.

He looks like his back hurts. Or maybe he's having trouble with digestion?
