Title: Dusk, Monument Valley
Post by: Vieri Bottazzini on May 19, 2016, 05:50:32 pm
The unmistakeable profile of Monument Valley doesn't need any presentation. Everyone knows it from movies, videos and photographs, and it's definitely one of the most iconic landscape ever. This is my interpretation of this classic wonder of nature.

When I was a kid, we always had a calendar from Santa Fe Railroad and Navajo Freight.  They had beautiful paintings of the Southwest.  This image instantly brought back the memory of those calendars.  Beautiful.  Well done.

It's a classic but the sky is superb and just perfect for the buttes. The place is so special, it's a favorite of mine.
Bravo!
