Title: Floodplain Forest Scene
Post by: biker on May 15, 2016, 04:29:56 pm
Calling it "Enchanted Forest" would be probably too daring.
The florets are marsh-marigold (Caltha palustris). Note also two craneflies dancing in the backlight.

I like the light and the subdued colours.

Like this one.

But I'm not sure it'll work printed, because of the HDR content.

Contrast is very high but it's fine for the scene. I'm just wondering whether the right side of the image brings something?

I like it, but I would probably try to darken the blurred bright areas in the upper part of the image a little. I find they compete with the foreground.

Yeah, haven't noticed that at first but you're probably right.
