Title: Another take on springtime in the rockies
Post by: MattBurt on May 01, 2016, 07:53:19 pm
I climbed and skied a nearby 12,000 ft peak with a couple of friends this morning.
The light wasn't entirely cooperative as it continued to snow on the 8+ inches from last night on a good stable base. But the skiing was good. And chances of a large avalanche are smaller with a spring snowpack.
I took my small crop SLR and single 18-135 zoom to travel light.
